Good enough to carry our mark, this specially commissioned cooked mini puerh cake is a great place to start exploring puerh - but also great for people who drink a lot of puerh tea every day. Pressed from cooked tea harvested in 2007 and fermented for 48 days, the cake has already mellowed slightly with age and is smooth to the taste with all the sweet, earthy notes you would expect from a high quality cooked puerh.

  • Very good puerh

by Marinastar on 11th of November

I've decided to try puerh for the first time and I am really enjoying it. Lovely mild taste, great aroma, I am definitely going to buy some more!

  • Great Cooked Pu Erh for its price

by Ben on 30th of May

This Pu erh is very pleasant. A delightful brew, with a strong flavour although lacking the subtleties of pricier pu erh. The four stars is a combination of price and taste, or rather I'm really reviewing it on its quality for what it costs.

  • love it!

  • enjoying this tea

its a lovely mild flavour delicate on the palette, I am really enjoying it

  • Great everyday tea with earthy and smoky notes

by Drew on 25th of April

Once the cake is broken up, the tea has a decaying/wet wood aroma. The aroma of the infused tea smells of saw dust and wet wood, and the flavour of the liquor is earthy and smoky. I think this is a great everyday tea that is mellow and has a classic cooked puerh flavour.
