The long, delicate green needles have been expertly handmade by Master Ye Sheng using only his most perfect and tender young leaves harvested on the banks of Yu Shan Wu Lake. First lightly pressed in a hot wok and then hand rolled to produce the characteristic shape - this is an extreme artisan tea. The precious liquor is pale green and crystal clear with a texture like liquid silk. The flavour is complex and sappy with light citrus notes and gorgeous fresh floral orchid tones.

Anji Bai Cha translates to Anji White Tea - though it is actually a green tea. This is because it is made with a unique variety of Camellia Sinensis (Tea Bush)found only in Anji County, which produces almost translucent, silvery white buds in the early spring. Anji County lies in the North West of Zhejiang Province, the area is lush and green, covered in primeval forest. During spring the temperatures are cool and there is often a mist blanketing the tea fields. This perfect climate produces extremely delicate green teas, which are high in amino acids and low in tannins - which gives a lovely vegetal note to the teas and a very low astringency.
